Jazan University

Since its establishment, the University has assumed the responsibility of preparing national talents in accordance with the highest academic standards and global best practices, through attracting and developing qualified faculty members and sponsoring outstanding students to study at top international universities. The University was established by Royal Decree No. (1396/M/B), issued on 30/04/1426 AH, corresponding to June 7, 2005. The foundation stone was laid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud — may he rest in peace — on 14/10/1427 AH, corresponding to November 15, 2006. Today, Jazan University comprises 14 colleges across a wide range of disciplines, with more than 35,000 male and female students, reflecting its pivotal role in developing human capital. The University also enjoys a strategic and distinctive location on the Red Sea coast, north of Jazan City. Its campus spans over 9,000,000 square meters, providing an integrated educational and research environment that fosters innovation and supports the goals of national development.
